Sound Healing with Sara Yao
Sound healing is the practice of calming the nervous system using voice, instruments such as alchemy singing bowls, and other sound tools. The mix of intentional rhythms, tones, and sound frequencies help downshift brainwave states from alpha (alert) to beta (aware calm) to theta (meditative) or even delta (regenerative sleep).
Many of my clients struggle with seated meditation (at first) but are able to feel the benefits of being in a meditative state through sound healing. The sound frequencies assist them in bypassing the analytical mind, allowing them more ease in recognizing greater perspective, clarity and sense of well-being.
I generally incorporate sound healing into my private one-on-one work, but I also offer standalone private sound healing sessions, as well as public sound baths (see below).
